Philanthropy Officer – 14 hours per week (over 4 days)

Quartet Community Foundation (QCF) is one the UK’s leading Community Foundations. With a permanent endowment of £23 million, last year alone we distributed grants worth over £2.7 million to more than 950 different organisations across the West of England, making a real difference to the lives of those most in need in our community. We have ambitious growth plans to enrich the lives of more people across the West of England.
We are now looking for an experienced event manager to join our Philanthropy Team to create and manage a programme of stimulating events for QCF donors and partners. Reporting to the Philanthropy Director, you will also have a portfolio of fund holders for whom you will provide philanthropy advice and you will contribute to your knowledge to our understanding of changing social needs.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent customer service skills, experience of creating and managing events to tight budgets and a talent for relating to people across all areas of society.
