To apply, clubs must commit to provide a smoke free environment at the clubs whilst young people are training or are taking part in fixtures. Club coaches will be given training and resources to implement a smoke free policy that will contribute to creating an environment for young people that complements a healthy lifestyle. Successful applicants will receive a £500 grant to buy extra equipment or provide additional facilities & training at the sports club.

Who can apply?
This grant programme is open to charitable sports groups based in Bath & North East Somerset which coach young people (aged 6-17) in outdoor team-based sports. Applications from local clubs in South Bath, Radstock and Midsomer Norton are particularly welcome as are applications from clubs which coach youth players in football. These applications are a priority.  Applicants must send at least at least one coach on the brief intervention training session on 20th February 2017, 17.30-19.00pm, venue to be confirmed but will be at a location in the South of Bath (Odd Down).
