Become an Ambassador

Ambassadors are special supporters who enjoy a programme of exclusive events and activities, all while raising awareness of our work and raising money for good causes through the Ambassadors’ grant-making fund.

Anyone is welcome to become an Ambassador (see membership costs below), and all our fund holders become honorary Ambassadors on creation of their fund.

Whether you’re considering setting up a fund with us, or can’t afford a fund but would still like to get involved, joining the Ambassadors will give you a deeper insight into our work and the chance to help raise money and meet other supporters.

The money raised through Ambassadors’ events goes into the Ambassadors Fund, an endowment fund from which grants are awarded to change lives. The Ambassadors Committee meets regularly to review grant applications and award grants to support vital local community projects.

Felix Road Adventure Playground received a grant of £1,000 towards the cost of cooks providing hot, nutritious meals during the summer holiday period.

"Families got to eat healthy, low cost food together. Food cements the position of Felix Road as a safe, homely, nurturing place for families to visit. The kitchen is its heart, reflecting local cultures. We're extremely grateful for Quartet's support."

The Link club at Coniston Community Center in Patchway received a grant of £2,000 towards the costs of a much bigger meeting room space, as they were struggling to make enough room to accommodate people from their community.

"This grant has literally saved the Link Club; we had hugely outgrown our room and were having to turn away prospective members... We're so grateful to Quartet Community Foundation."

What’s the cost?

The annual membership fee costs £25 (or £35 for joint membership) or a lifetime membership costs £250 (or £350 for joint lifetime membership). All Quartet fund holders become Ambassadors automatically at no further cost.

Ambassadors are then invited to make a donation to attend events and this is used to cover costs and to add to the Ambassadors endowment fund, to ensure continued support for good causes.
