Funding available for community groups now

In B&NES help is available for projects trying to reduce carbon emissions through the BWCE Fund which previously supported Alice Park Community Garden through Transition Larkhall

Thousands of local people benefit from support thanks to the great work of local charities awarded our grants. At this pivotal time for local charities we’re really pleased we have 14 grant programmes open now to support their work.  

Here are ten grant programmes available now: 

·         Coronavirus Recovery and Stabilisation grants 

Max grant awarded: £10,000

Closing Date: No end date specified

·         Express Grant (Includes Coronavirus Response)     

Max grant awarded: Between £500-£5,000

Opening Date:  Open all year

·         Wessex Water Recovery Fund 

Max grant awarded: £2,500

Closing Date: 4 December midday

·         Bath & West Community Energy Fund Grant  

Max grant awarded: £5,000

Closing Date: 2 November 2020 9am

·         Bristol City Council Youth Sector Support Grant Programme  

Max grant awarded: £10,000 per organisation in any year, up to a maximum of £30,000 in any year for partnership applications

Closing Date: 17 November 2020

·         Bristol City Funds: BCH Health & Wellbeing Grant  

Max grant awarded: Grants of up to £20,000 per year, for a maximum of 2 years

Closing Date: 9 November 11am

·         North Somerset Community Partnership Grant 

Max grant awarded: £20,000

Next deadline for applications: 7 January 2021

·         Somerset Crimebeat Trust

Max grant awarded: £1,500
Closing Date: Applications can be made at any time, and will be considered each quarter by the panel. Applications should be received by 20 November 2020 for the next panel meeting

Max grant awarded: £2K – £10k
Closing Date: The grant programme will be open for applications until the funding is allocated

Max grant awarded: Up to £3,000

Closing Date: The grant programme will remain open until the available funds have been awarded
