Growing endowment a gift to our communities

The Dunton Fund has already supported three projects, including the School Kit Project which gets school-related items to B&NES families experiencing hardship

In celebration of the arrival of spring we want to give thanks for the generosity of all our supporters who’ve stepped up to make a difference during this extraordinarily difficult time.

Our permanent endowment now stands at over £54m, this is a gift to our communities in need today, and for the future. This achievement is down to the commitment of hundreds of our fund holders, such as the Dunton Fund.

The caring people behind the Dunton Fund recently made a sizeable £60,000 donation plus Gift Aid to the fund. This means this fund can build on and increase the good work supporting projects in Bath & NES, Bristol and South Glos.

Their gift will provide opportunities for people of all ages to benefit from training and education; to support those with hidden disabilities and to improve health and wellbeing and build stronger communities.  The Dunton Fund has already supported the School Kit Project, Grow Yourself CiC and the Somer Valley Education Trust.
