Climate change is always in the news. This week David Attenborough has declared that climate change is a ‘crime’ humanity has inflicted on the planet’. But he feels much can still be done.

We agree. And so do many of you.

As a result donations from individuals and charities to green causes has more than doubled since 2016.

However at present only about 4% of the money from UK charitable trusts and foundations goes to environmental causes, including climate change.

Our funding for environmental projects

At Quartet Community Foundation we have a range of grant programmes that open throughout the year to support environmental projects, such as the BWCE grants, Wessex Water Environment Fund, and Megawatt. Keep an eye on our grants page for news of new grants opening.

Our Express Grant programme is always open to receive applications addressing environmental and climate change issues.
