FACE received a BWCE Fund grant through Quartet Community Foundation

Grant programmes open now, or opening soon

1.    Funding available for grassroots groups across the West of England through the Wessex Water Community Fund Grant. Grants up to £1,500 available for organisations based and working in the West of England, which includes Bath & North-East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. There are no limits to the size of organisation which may apply for a Wessex Water Community Fund grant, but priority will be given to groups with an annual turnover of less than £100,000 in an average year. 2.    Funding available for those working closely with Bristol’s street homeless through the Tap for Bristol grant programme Grants up to £5,000 available for a homelessness partnership to distribute personal budgets to clients experiencing homelessness issues. We are looking for a partnership of organisations perhaps led by a single provider, to distribute these funds. Deadline 20 February 2020. Find out more

3.    The Megawatt Community Energy Grant also opens on the 12 February Opens 12 February. Deadline 11am 8 April. Find out more  

4.    North Somerset Realising Potential opening 1 April 2020. This new grant programme for North Somerset will open on 1 April. Grants of between £100 – £2,000 will be available to: ·         strengthen and improve the capacity of the community and voluntary sector in North Somerset; or ·         support community based organisations responding to the needs and aspirations of disadvantaged local people in North Somerset. ·         NSCP grants awarded

Muslim and refugee women can join a new women-only group, thanks to a grant from the North Somerset Community Partnership (NSCP) grant programme. The £1,000 grant to North Somerset BME Network came through the NSCP grant programme run by Quartet Community Foundation. The project is one of 13 to recently benefit from NSCP grants to boost health and wellbeing in North Somerset. Read more  

•           BWCE grants awarded

Bath & West Community Energy (BWCE) Fund has awarded £28,370 in funding including to eight organisations which are helping Bath area residents tackle climate change by reducing carbon emissions and addressing fuel poverty. Find out more
