The NSCP Fund has pushed the permanent endowment fund over £50m. NSCP support North Somerset projects

A recent £3.5m gift into the North Somerset Community Partnership (NSCP) Fund means your community foundation’s permanent endowment invested for our communities now stands at over £50m.

This remarkable achievement is down to the commitment of thousands of donors and hundreds of fund holders who’ve joined us since 1987.

This money gifted to our permanent endowment funds is invested and means together we can respond to the needs of our most disadvantaged communities today, tomorrow and for generations to come.

Since lockdown we’ve also received remarkable gifts to our revenue funds. These donations include nearly £18k from Arms Around Bristol donors, £602k from the National Emergencies Trust (NET) and £240k from Wessex Water, and many, many more.

Because of your trust in us we could support grassroots initiatives across the region as Covid-19 struck, channelling over £1m in coronavirus grants to small local causes between March and August. We haven’t stopped since lockdown eased. We’re continuing to support the Covid-19 response work through our Express Grants Programme.

Our new Recovery and Stabilisation Grant Programme, which launched in July, has already awarded 29 groups over £270k to help them with their Covid-19 recovery.

Thank you for standing with us and the hundreds of vital small charities we support together.
