What is the HPC Bristol Community Fund?

The HPC Bristol Community Fund is a charitable fund set up with funds raised by EDF Energy and partner companies that are working on the Hinkley Point C (HPC) nuclear power project. The aim of the grants programme is to support local charitable causes across Bristol and North Somerset.

What can you apply for?

Grants of up to £1,000 are available to support disadvantaged young people by offering education, training and volunteering opportunities and/or improving young people’s access to these opportunities.

Who can apply?

Grants will be considered from local voluntary and community organisations based in Bristol and North Somerset. There are no limits to the size of organisation which may apply for a HPC Bristol Community Grant. However, if your organisation is holding significant financial reserves you will need to make it clear why these reserves cannot be used to cover the cost of the activity.
