The launch of TAP for Bristol will create new funds in the city for those working closely with people who are street homeless. The City Centre Bid, in partnership with Caring in Bristol and Quartet Community Foundation, are looking for a homelessness partnership to distribute personal budgets to clients experiencing homelessness issues.

This potential funding for emergency support will be available as a grant, managed by Quartet, for local organisations to provide personal budgets to clients experiencing homelessness issues.

We are looking for a partnership of organisations perhaps led by a single provider, to distribute these funds as they see fit, with some key parameters.

Similar projects have used funds for providing travel to job interviews or around the city, supporting access to education and rehabilitative courses or buying a bike to get to and from work.

The TAP for Bristol initiative was launched on the 18th of September 2019. More details of the grants programme including guidelines and an online application form will be available as soon as the first sums of money are raised.
