This grant programme is open for applications.
The Bristol Community Recovery grants programme is about supporting recovery, building trust and community cohesion following public disorder in August 2024. It is for Black and racially minoritised communities and neighbourhoods where there is poverty, inequity and deprivation.
Grants are available through this programme for groups and organisations delivering local and city-wide activities and social action* that meets one or more of the following priorities:
*What is ‘social action’? Social action is about people coming together to help improve their lives and solve the problems that are important in their communities. Through the commitment and skills of people who want to make a difference, social action can empower communities, and complement public services.
A grant will support groups and organisations to deliver work that aligns with one or more of the above priorities. You can apply for a grant that:

Applicants must be based and working in Bristol. This means the Local Authority area of Bristol City Council.

Partnerships: Grants up to £20,000 are available for applications from two or more organisations working together. All partner organisations must meet the criteria outlined above.
