Sue Blatchford

Trustee, Chair of Quartet's Finance & Investment Committee

Sue was educated at Clifton High School, then took a degree in International Business and French at Aston University in Birmingham. She joined the family firm, Denmans Electrical Wholesalers, part of the Steeple Group in 1990 and worked in Purchasing and then Business Development until the company was sold in 2000. She then moved on to work for another Steeple Group Company, Lumination, and later as Purchasing Director.

She was also on the board of the french division based in Lille, Tibelec. Currently taking a non-executive role at Steeple Ltd, she now lives in Bath and runs a Property Development business with her husband building residential homes in Bristol and the surrounding areas.
Sue has been Trustee of the Denman Charitable Trust for over 10 years and of BRACE a Bristol based Charity that funds Dementia Research in the South West since August 2017, so is used to assessing grant funding requests.
Denman Charitable Trust are fund holders at Quartet and Sue is the Trustee Sponsor on the Funding the Future Community Anchor Project.
