Organisational Resilience Report

Organisational Resilience Report

Quartet has been running the Youth Sector Support Fund on behalf of Bristol City Council since 2018. Recently renewed as the Youth & Play Fund for a further 5 years, the funding aims to strengthen and support Bristol’s youth and play sector organisations. These range from large adventure playgrounds to small activity groups, but all enrich the lives of local young people, giving them safe and supportive environments that enhance their opportunities and futures.

As part of managing the fund, we were fortunate to take part in a collaborative research project with Bristol City Council and the University of Bristol, investigating factors that help to foster resilience, both in youth sector organisations (the focus of our research) and in young people themselves.

The overall findings from this research project have fed into our understanding and funding priorities, influencing the Youth Sector Support Fund’s criteria for funding and our work more widely.

If you have any questions or feedback on the findings in the report, please contact our Head of Research & Learning, Lucy Gilbert. lucy.gilbert@quartetcf.org.uk
