New funding to help communities celebrate Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

We’re launching the new Arts Council England Let’s Create Jubilee Fund in the West of England in January 2022.

The £5million programme will support community and voluntary organisations in England to develop creative and cultural activities. This is part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022.

The programme is made possible with funding from the National Lottery, whose players raise £30million for good causes every week.

We’re one of a the network of community foundations distributing the Arts Council England Let’s Create Jubilee Fund. The fund is being administered by UK Community Foundations on behalf of the Arts Council.

What is the Queen's Platinum Jubilee?

HM Queen Elizabeth II is the first monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, having overtaken Queen Victoria as the longest reigning monarch in British history in 2015.

An extended bank holiday, from Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 June 2022, will provide an opportunity for communities and people throughout the United Kingdom to come together to celebrate the historic milestone. The four days of celebrations will include public events and community activities, as well as national moments of reflection on the historic milestone.
