In View 2026

This year’s In View report examines the impact of poverty across our region, highlighting the diverse ways it is experienced within our communities and examining the underlying factors that contribute to it.

Supported by the latest data on poverty and case studies from the local charity sector, In View helps answer the following important questions:

  • How do we define poverty and what does it look like in the West of England?
  • How does poverty impact children and young people?
  • How is income and employment linked to poverty?
  • What impact does the high cost of housing have on driving poverty?
  • What role does philanthropy play in helping address poverty in our region?

In View was researched and written by Lucy Gilbert, Head of Research and Learning. If you have any questions or feedback, please get in touch at lucy.gilbert@quartetcf.org.uk.
