Celebrating local giving in 2025

Circomedia Youth Circus

At the end of 2025 we were delighted to welcome fund holders and other supporters to our Annual Celebration at We the Curious.

Together, we celebrated the incredible spirit of local giving that makes the West of England such a vibrant and caring community.

A heartfelt thank you to our presenters: Saliha Ahmed from the Pakistani Women’s Association for her moving words, and fund holder Richard Tredwin who reminded us that wealth is meant to be shared with those in need, as well as the transformative impact of The Scantlebury Challenge.

We were entertained by incredible performances by Circomedia’s youth circus and heard from Circomedia’s Jono Ayres about the importance of local giving and the long term benefits of making arts accessible for everyone.

A huge congratulations goes to Turtle CYP, the well-deserved winner of the 2025 Penny Johnstone Award!
