In conversation with Professor Beth Breeze

Professor Beth Breeze speaking on stage with Ronnie Brown, Philanthropy Director.

We were delighted to welcome our fund holders to a special event at the Clifton Club on 29th April, where we were joined for the evening by Professor Beth Breeze, Director of the Centre for Philanthropy at the University of Kent.

Beth co-founded the Centre for Philanthropy in 2008 and is an internationally recognised author of several books on philanthropy, fundraising and charitable giving. She has been a long-standing advocate of community foundations around the UK and has been very supportive of our work for many years.

Guests heard first-hand from Beth in a Q&A session hosted by our Philanthropy Director, Ronnie Brown, where she discussed her early experiences of philanthropy, her journey to where she is today and her views on how to motivate others to give.
