We are delighted to have been announced as one of the Inaugural Cohort of Tech4Good South West Champions. At Quartet, we’re passionate about building relationships with tech businesses and entrepreneurs who want to drive social change in the West of England, together with Tech4Good South West and other partners.
As a local funder, our focus is on the support we give to small, charitable organisations through grants and pro bono support (ProHelp). We recognise that tech has a crucial role to play in our communities, which is why we’re made approximately £1.7m in grants over the last five years to help address issues such as digital inclusion in our region.
This has included:
- Funding during Covid for groups to move their services online.
- Capacity-building grants to help groups improve their digital infrastructure like websites, equipment and databases.
- A range of creative projects including a grant to support 100 children to make their own podcast.
