As Head of Programmes, I support Quartet to deliver effective, consistent and accessible grant‑making across all our programmes, ensuring funding reaches the communities that need it most. I’m passionate about learning from our grant seekers so their insights continue to shape our approach, policies and priorities. I’m also proud that Quartet is signed up to the IVAR Open and Trusting Grant‑making commitments, reflecting our drive to be transparent and responsive.
A standout moment for me was in 2020, when we launched our Covid response programme ahead of the national lockdown. It enabled us to support the incredible efforts of many local groups and organisations at a critical time.
Previously a keen rugby player, I’m now a bit too old for the scrum and a busy father of two. I enjoy coastal and countryside walks, watching comedy, and serving as an occasional taxi driver for my kids!
