An Honors graduate at St Andrews University, John spent his business career in the motor industry, with roles including Finance Director and Chief Executive. He is currently a Non-Exec Director/Chairman on various small business Boards including his son, Jamie Cullum’s music business.
John is delighted to have joined Quartet’s Board of Trustees after being associated with the Community Foundation movement for many years during his time in Wiltshire and Somerset where he retains links as a Friend and Vice President respectively. He feels inspired by the significant impact small grants can make to support disadvantaged people and local communities.
A former High Sheriff of Somerset and now Deputy Lieutenant of Somerset, John is now Chair of Bath Royal United Hospital’s Forever Friends Appeal Group, Chair of Bath Festivals and a Patron of Bath Volunteer Centre.
