The Scantlebury Challenge – For Professional Advisers

As a professional adviser, you play a crucial role in connecting individuals with the guidance they need. Your independent advice and expertise can empower them to navigate their charitable giving with confidence.

We recognise that each client has unique circumstances and goals, and we are here to support you—helping to explore ideas and tailor solutions that align with their philanthropic aspirations.

We are excited to launch a new 50% matched giving initiative, thanks to a generous £1 million donation from the Scantlebury Estate and its executors.

This fantastic opportunity will amplify your clients giving so that their generosity stretches further to transform lives and create positive change in our communities.

Put simply, for every £2 they donate, an additional £1 will be added (while funds last).

How it works

Already a fund holder?

We will match any donation between £25,000 and £200,000 with an extra 50% to set up their endowment fund. They can make a pledge now to secure the matched funding as long as their gift is donated before 31st March 2027.

New to Quartet?

If they top up their endowment fund with between £10,000 and £100,000, we will match it with an extra 50%.

Supporting local communities

With strong ties throughout the West of England, we have exceptional insight into the needs of our local communities. The Scantlebury Challenge aims to support small, local organisations dedicated to assisting those facing inequality and disadvantage within their communities. Your clients have complete flexibility in determining their level of involvement when making grants from their fund.

Making a difference

For small charitable groups, sustained and modest funding can make a significant impact. Like The Family Centre (Deaf Children) who received a grant of £985 to support families living with hearing loss through outdoor activities and sports.

“For our Deaf 2 year old, it provided a chance to run about and have fun with lots of other kids – some wearing hearing tech, some not; some Deaf, some not; some signing, some not. It makes everything so normal, and this is so important for his Deaf identity because he’s very conscious.” Parent, The Family Centre (Deaf Children)
