What is the BCH/NSCP Professional Development Bursary Fund?
The fund is provided by Bristol Community Health/North Somerset Community Partnership and has been set up to offer financial assistance for undergraduate qualifications. Bursaries are available to undergraduate students including mature students and those wishing to return to full time education or retrain in the following programmes:
- Nursing (Adult, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health & Paediatrics)
- Podiatry
- Health Visiting
- Midwifery
Who can apply?
- You must live and have lived in the city, or have a Bristol postcode, or reside within North Somerset prior to attending university. You will require proof of this.
- You must be in either year 2 or 3 at the University of West of England (UWE)
- The bursary is only available for students with a household income of £30,000 or below, evidence will be requested.
- Applications welcome from members of all communities.
- Grants will not be awarded retrospectively.
